She is also the undisputed maven of the Jamaican Alumni associations in Florida where she lends her unwavering support to all associations to help the next generation of students in Jamaica.

Dr. Cohen is from the small district of Orange River, St. Mary. When he did not succeed at Common Entrance and his friends went off to high school without him, he turned his life around and worked his way to becoming a trained teacher in Jamaica. He went on to secure his PhD in Leadership and became a lifelong educator and philanthropist.

Dr. Kijana Nix is a Pediatrician who hails from East Kingston. She has dedicated her life to caring for children and worked at Kingston Public Hospital but now has her own practice in Maryland. Kijana gives back to the land of her birth by going into rural Jamaica on Medical Missions.

Malachi is a compassionate enforcer whose mind is always churning with lyrics for his poems. He lived through some of the most tumultuous times in Jamaica as a police officer in the 1970s and 80s and moved to Florida where he used all the educational opportunities and his innate humanity to move up the police force in Miami-Dade County while all the time pursuing his love of writing and performing.
