Addy was born in Portsmouth, England and came to Jamaica with her Chinese-Jamaican parents when she was a toddler. She grew up with her family in Vineyard Town and is now an emergency room nurse. She is also the undisputed maven of the Jamaican Alumni associations in Florida where she lends her unwavering support to all associations to help the next generation of students in Jamaica.
